I don’t come to life coaching from an “isn’t love always so great” perspective. Relationships are work, hard work! They’re the biggest investments you’ll ever make. They come loaded with risk and uncertainty, but when they work the payout yields the greatest rewards you’ll ever know.
“Love is the universal constant; emotional pain and unhappiness come from the misunderstanding and mishandling of that universal constant.” Love, like a plant, is grown, and contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t just happen. Successful, relationships need to be fed and nurtured, they’re the result of mindfulness, intent and much attention to emotional details. Without these, things can go south quick, fast and in a hurry, while bringing a lot of emotional pain and unhappiness along for the ride.
I woke up one March morning four years ago to the reality that my 1st marriage of 24 years was over. I HAD FAILED, or so I thought. It was unknown to me at the time, but the failure of my 1st marriage would become the catalyst for the transformation that has lead to some of my greatest successes.
Initially, when I first separated, I didn’t sleep for eight days straight and lost 22 pounds in 2 weeks. The good friend who I stayed with temporarily hadn’t the slightest clue what to do for me. The pain of unhappiness and failure was so intense for me, I could taste it and for a few days, the thought of going to sleep and not waking up sounded good. My faith in God and the love for my children gave me the strength to rise up and begin to pursue my future. I desired happiness, we all do!
One evening, that same friend invited me to the final night of a forum he was taking part in, which at its core was life-coaching. That evening I got my first taste of how coaching can transform your life. That event that evening was when I began transforming my past failures into my future success and it was also the catalyst to my formal coaching career.
Through sharing my experiences, I discovered my gift for connecting with people, getting them clarity, while pointing them in the direction of their future happiness. I needed an access that would allow me to share my knowledge and experience with anyone who wants to achieve personal, relationship or marital success. It seems I didn’t find life coaching, but rather life coaching found me.
It was only a few months later that I chanced to meet the beautiful woman/soulmate who would become my best friend, wife, and partner. My Kathy has changed my life and the way I love forever. (That’s her with me in the pictures, she’s wonderful and awesome!) Every day, she works together with me on creating the success and happiness that meets our emotional needs and drives us towards the successes and rewards we both seek and enjoy.
I’m a believer in unlimited possibility, filling the bucket list, living life out loud and accomplishing whatever we set our mind to do. I’ve found my peace, I flow as one with the universe and maintain a mind, body and spirit balance. Professionally, I’ve completed formal Life Coach training, certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), done many years of personal development training and best of all, I have over 28 years of marriage and parenting experience under my belt…so I know few things about life, love, sex, relationships, and marriage! ) My life to this point has been a hell-of-a-ride, ups, downs, and in-betweens, yet here I stand, happy, fulfilled and always excited about the future.
My wish is for an emotionally fulfilling and passionately connected life for anyone who wants one. My goal is to make your life and relationships work better. If you’re ready to supercharge your personal growth and love life, my job is to make sure that happens. I’m excited for you and I look forward to going on a life-transforming journey to success, fulfillment, and happiness with you.
